Sara Cristina: Elevate brand perception and support high-end positioning

Overview
Sara Cristina is a New York–based luxury swim and resort-wear brand with a strong visual identity and a clear design language.
The goal was to translate that aesthetic into a digital experience that feels consistent, refined, and easy to navigate across all devices.
Challenge
The existing website did not fully reflect the quality and positioning of the brand.
While the visual identity was already strong, the digital experience lacked clarity, structure, and performance. This created friction in product discovery and limited the overall perception of the brand online.
At the same time, the brand was growing and needed a more scalable foundation for its direct-to-consumer channel.
Approach
The project focused on simplifying the structure and creating a more considered, editorial design system.
Product presentation was treated as the central element. Layout, spacing, and typography were refined to give each piece room to stand on its own, while maintaining a consistent rhythm across the site.
Navigation and page structure were redesigned to improve clarity and reduce friction, especially on mobile. Performance and responsiveness were treated as core requirements throughout the build.
Result
The result is a more cohesive and focused e-commerce experience that better reflects the brand’s positioning.
The website now supports clearer product discovery, a stronger visual identity, and a more consistent experience across devices.
Alongside broader strategic changes, the improved digital foundation contributed to significant growth in the direct-to-consumer channel, including strong year-over-year revenue increases and improved customer acquisition.
